2 is way too low, should be at least 5 IMO.
Do you usually have more than 2 trials? I think Iāve had 3 less than 10 times and 4 like once ever

Usually? nope. But when it happen, I feel the game is at its best.
Otherwise its just a casino game. Lets see which investigator can pick the right number of unseen/cult.
I guarantee you Iāve caught more scum as a non-Investigative class than when I am one

Maybe you can find, but how could you make other people vote for that man when there are only 2 trials per day.
Why would they listen to a random player say I think 8 is cult, when there are only 2 trials a day and every player think another player is cultā¦
The same reason they do for every other person, you point out what theyāve said (or a lack of saying anything), or who they did/didnāt vote for. I see people put up, or accused on those lines all the time, and I donāt really recall ever having seen more than 2 people voted up in a day, (I was too busy to play during the 2 or 3 days where apparently the put everyone up back to back trend came in).

Voing wrong/ saying somthing wrong doesnāt make the player unseen. That why you need trials, and alot of them.

I have had 4 and 5 trial days in games. Not just accuse for logs either. Got to think of the game has a fool and scorned and both get checked while framed. Then we pardon one for being framed and then other is found to be fool by his actions on trial. Now evil are clear for another night to kill when you could pardon the previous two and go evil instead.
I am not a fan of the trial cap but will try it. My educated guess osnthat it will ruin the play experience and would ultimately lead to more frustration and quitting.
I will say this should force people to think before accusing though. There will be growing pains but seeing it from that point makes sense to me.
You donāt need trials for inquery. Classes can be asked about and answered with or without trials. IMO I think itās perfectly reasonable to interogate on the ground, put someone up if you are 80% sure you are likely to vote execute.

8 post your logs and claim.
8 says no or nothing at all because you donāt have to at all according to rules.
Everyone thinks 8 is evil and puts them on trial.
Now 8 posts logs and claim since they are actually threatened with death.

Well then 8 is dumb and once theyāve been executed a few times theyāll start claiming sooner
Iām not publicly outting myself either to die that night or be converted lol. I will refuse everytime. If I get executed so be it. On to the next game. If you want to know then deduce. Link me or jail me or investigate. Use your resources. Asking everyone to claim and post to avoid trial is a cop out and adds to that instant gratification.

right now with the VFL mentality people haveā¦ people are used to trial having no meaning, as 90% of trials arenāt serious. If trials are your last ditch effort when everyoneās decided to vote for you that is unlikely to succeedā¦ people will actually take the steps to avoid getting up there to begin with.
When trials are an unlimited resourceā¦ that must mean nobody cares even slightly if you arenāt on trial.
Once you are out numbered or king is evil trials will be a joke. Just keep votting and waste the day until itās gg.
Itās takes only 9 people minimum for that. 5 votes evil with king and 4 votes BD, not counting any neutrals.
Yea I see that side too. Riggt now there is no reason to be scared. I just hate the claim or die mentality.
That I agree with, and I think it is likely people will soon scrap the make everyone claim and post logs of everyone, and actually focus on whatās said and done to determine which ones to get claims and logs from. I think most of us (except eran) want more or less the same thing, some of us have minor reservations of side effects from the attempts to get it.
and really I think many agree that to some extent the core problem, will either exist or not exist based on the effectiveness in practice of getting logs from everyone. rather than limits on trials, as the meta can adapt if they want it to to just make the equivelant of trials in the discussion phase and effectively make the trial itself the auto execute stand.

You have no time for that. its 80 second ONLINE game. You ask somone and they just donāt answer (somtimes because they are good). playing afk. buying time. By the time they answer you donāt have the time to put them on trial.
