I still think the King is dangerously underpowered with this change - what incentive do I have to coordinate with the King at the beginning? It also remains to be seen whether BD will just exe king at first opportunity. I’m willing to see what happens though!

Agreed! Once again, I’m extremely pleased and impressed with the respect for the community from the devs.

Agreed, Paladin needed a buff and this is only logical.

I disagree. The Reaper’s Chill ability requires a cost because it’s very strong. The person is unable to influence the flow of the day or defend themselves. The Assassin shouldn’t get to do it for free. As of this change, the Assassin will be able to cause just enough confusion to get an inno executed. It requires more skill than Chill.

Lower need for skilled use --> High cost (2 souls)
Higher need for skilled use --> Low cost (Free)

10 seconds is useless though. And it only has 2 uses anyways.

10 seconds is not good enough but forever is too good… How about 25 seconds?

That’s better than 10, but why does it even need to be temporary? If it’s made to last the rest of the day then players wouldn’t be as likely to exe players that say nothing.

Just wondering, how does the Mastermind’s appearance as not Unseen for three days interact with the Sheriff’s new Surveillance ability? Will the MM show as Unseen or not?

It won’t The ability means that as far as everyone else’s ability’s are concerned (other than one’s that punish the user biased on faction) the MM is an Observer.

Sad to see no grace period at the beginning of the day for Noble abilities and Reaper Chill before people can vote.

Just last night a Reaper who should have won lost because he couldn’t chill anyone before we voted him up. It was 2v1 and he played a good game and got robbed.

Yes, it would be nice if you couldn’t vote for the first 5 seconds of the day or something.

Little bit of feedback from my experience so far: Reading logs is now even more important than it used to be, since there’s a reduced number of classes that can give definite sus/non-sus results, so deductions from logs is the best way to get info. Only problems are that a lot of people still don’t read logs, and some people write terrible logs :confused:

This is a good thing imo. But yes, people need to actually read them haha. Not that the game should be balanced around player laziness :wink:

I don’t mean it as a bad thing, it made the game way more fun for me! It’s just annoying when people decide not to use them :frowning:

I’m not sure that’s a good idea…

Seems to work out just fine so far. Haven’t seen anyone bother to attack the king except once. It worked at that time btw.

You forgot to add marshal being removed

I thought that was implied with “Sheriff cannot be converted”
