It should just be a 50% chance for good and 50% chance for evil with no starting neut.

This is good, but mercenary still needs more changes. They should know their target’s class and be able to speak with them in another chat.

Can you also change it so scorned knows their target’s exact class?

This wasn’t needed. Nobody complained about the current will-o-wisp.

I agree that psychic shouldn’t have it, but there should be a class with it. There’s now no reason to stay when dead.

This wasn’t needed, psychic was made unique for a reason.

I’m fine with that. Inquisitor shouldn’t even exist.

I actually had a complaint on willow wisp, it’s what kept princess into the (occasionally fakeable but most likely to bite you) category. Assuming the whisp doesn’t send any info to the target, that brings princess back into reasonable to claim… which is good.

Still, the current replacement isn’t related at all to the main ability. It should just determine your target’s exact class type instead.

I’d rather not exact class type, but do agree that finding killers is generally less useful than your other ability

Then what else should replace it? Finding your target’s exact class type fits with the other ability, and it isn’t overpowered as it only has a few uses

Please do not do that it will ruin a chance to have some fun after meeting victory conditions as scorn/inq and to chat freley with others without having to lie or play role. If you really want to make this game easier for new players you can do that everyone will be notified that player x just won and he is scorn/inq or/and block all abilities for neutral player after he kills his target.

You would rather Psychic’s main ability be a 2 use double link that doesn’t let the Psychic talk?

Hmmm let’s see I have no problems other then the weird name change of psychic and losing it’s chat with dead and that king is now more BD I wish if it was like 30 bd 30 neut 30 evil and maybe 10 psycho but no NK.Phys seems like a doc from tos but meh.Also for scorned make it so he can’t vote and doesn’t count to the vote count for inquis just make it same as scorned or make a ‘gone’ effect overall not too shabby and some things are cool.

Why on either of these? The Merc doesn’t really need to know their target’s class most of the time, and the exceptions are can make Merc interesting, and for The Scorned, I’d say that it’s already easy enough for them to win without being able to use information like that against their targets.

Getting rid of an ability that could confirm you fairly easily is a good change in my opinion, even if there were no active complaints against wisp.

I’d like to think the outcome of the game would be a reason to stay, but hey, not for everyone. I’m personally indifferent to interaction with the dead, but the fact that you get 40% gold if you leave early now should be enough to make up for the lack of it, right?

It’s removal was because of a new, different reason, I’m sure.

I like it, because it means information is harder to spread without evils knowing about it.

The whole point of the Sorcerer is the Inquisitor chases after them, care to elaborate?

well I’m not him, but I can say what the real criticism is.

  1. Sorc isn’t uniquely difficult to catch of an NK. Yeah cult/unseen doesn’t want him out, but generally they can’t identify him, or be sure he isn’t possesor. Other than that he’s got more or less all the trappings of the NK.

  2. Sorc’s defensive abilities, are all about fooling the inq. As a result, inq is actually the WORSE class to try to find the sorc. In 95% of sorc games I’ve been in, the inq has not caught the sorc, but won because the BD did catch the sorc. The inqs best plan of action is to do nothing until sorc is gone, because sorc really messes with his abilities.

The reason for why inquisitor exists is that Sorcerer is a LOT more convenient for the main evil faction than any other NK.
