Sorry… I know I’m annoying, but what is a mash and why would it not function without these classes

Mash is big games with usually 20+ people. usually closed setups. ITAs or in thread attacks (seen in NDFM and VCFM), Slank Vigs, and Claim vigs are used to cut POE a lot

They are a lot of fun, Id give one a chance to at least try it. We have a few on queue with Dangan in November, the 37 man one by STB, the JoJo Bizarre Adventure part 5 one soonish, and couple more. But they are a bit of a nightmare i agree, a lot of players to read but usually you kind of limit yourself to only a few players. Its different but easily my favorite modes

I mean, when you delete lynches and dayvigs, delete situational vigs, and make everyone PRs, sure.

like the weakest stand in Part 5 is Talking Heads and I don’t think anybody could call that stand actively bad simply because it’s cool

also dayvigges are great; they speed up large games and they’re an interesting form of KP in any case, simply because they’re flashier and more intersting than strongman vigges

mashes need high KP to avoid them taking forever with huge bloatedthreads

You know that when your character does not feel like your character anymore
Basically it is a very reactive character
The other players on the party have active characters, but the players themselves are reactive
So in order for the rp to go forwards, you need to break the personality of your chara and make it active
And the hook of the party even if multiple parties play at the same table is the only one that makes sense to my chara and they have already some relationships, so instead of leaving it would be better to create another character altogether, but I have alreadt gained foundness of the chara.

I’d argue that putting too many vigges in the setup is better with mashes than putting low KP simply because high KP can often turn out to not be a problem when the vigges shoot off each other early and scale the KP back to a better level

I’m not saying to go overboard but having the KP be a bit high is much better than it being a bit low

Also, the wolves should never have more KP than the villagers, but the villagers should never have more than 75% of the KP in the game; each individual vig is much better for the wolves than it is for the villagers because with balanced numbers the wolves are much much less likely to randomly shoot an ally than a villager is, and even less if they’re even slightly good at reading for lost wolves.
