just attach all your self worth to academic accomplishment to the point that you feel bad if you got above 100 percent but there was the possibility to get more extra credit! problem solved!!!
i was that kid who always raised his hand and the teacher would intentionally skip or be like “let’s see if other kids want to try to answer”

I never was a nerd. I was just liking books, cuz I had no friends anyways, and both my parents are academics, so why the hell would I not try to learn stuff? I wanted to become even better than them
now im the one that’s the teacher is like “stop playing flappy golf 2 or i will shove this ruler where the sun don’t shire”

did this for like the first 2 weeks of algebra and am rarely called on

I feel like I’m checking gradebook at least twice a day now even with all strong As
to give you some perspective
going up to random strangers and offering to tell them about perfect numbers is still not the nerdiest thing I did in elementary school
When your class has a participation component and/or is AP I feel like it works really good
I always knew that my grades won’t matter at all. If you have Abitur (aka, if you managed to get through 12 years and do your finals then), noone will ever care what grades you had in any class (except of the last two years)
i don’t give a fuck about biology or theology
math i don’t care about but am staying for stats
English i care about
robotics not rlly ngl
spanish is i want to learn the language but i don’t care for the class
