run 4 copies of Steelbane Hydra and Stonecoil Serpent, then try to selfmill Celebrants and Tesyas into your graveyard. you win upon mutating your Nethrol
it’s Red Aggro. a really strong deck that plays loads of cheap stuff that is tremendously irritating to deal with

for the death trigger combo, just run 4 copies of Polukranos and use them to control the board into the graveyard
they add triggers to the stack, are in Abzan colours, and most importantly can be reanimated through Escape later on in case your opponent somehow survives the 64 damage

okay so it turns out there are just enough 0/0 creatures to make the self-mill death jank work
the best part is that the combo can be repeated every time you Mutate mister scary abzan cat
it really depends on how good selfmill is in Abzan, which is something i’m not quite convinced of
Underworld Breach and Drowned Secrets have made Izzet Selfmill pretty good in the current meta
like
it turns out that without Dredge the Golgari don’t have anywhere near as much good self-mill cards as they used to
what a surprise
and also this is definitely going in my dumb janky Volrath deck
since it can search for my x-cost cards for just Golgari hybrid mana and put them into the graveyard, enabling the combo and also putting a +1/+1 counter (effectively) on Fiend Artisan
