the weirdest set-up I’ve ever seen was something like:

Jester Cult Leader
Serial Killer
a bunch of VTs
a couple largely-irrelevant PRs

the SK wins (and ends the game) if they successfully live to kill … 4? … people, or 3 if one is the Jester Cult Leader
each night, including N0, the Jester Cult Leader chooses someone, who secretly becomes a mini-Jester-Cultist without being informed of this
once the Jester Cult Leader gets lynched, the mini-Jester-Cultists get converted (and are informed of this fact) into Jesters who instantly end the game upon getting lynched, with all Jester Cultists victorious
once the SK dies, town gains a collective factional kill, in which all living townies privately submits a name at night and the dead player is randed among names submitted
