besides all the obvious ways that specs have advantages and disadvantages over players in gamesolving, spectators are disadvantaged relative to random town because any random town automatically knows the alignment of a single townie

I think that just adds the charm to (uninformed) spectating. You can’t just base your point of view on yourself since, well, you aren’t playing. So where a player can trust themselves, spectators can trust no one :eyes:
