last time I asked this question on a forums I had a school-with-power-thingy that spiraled down into this chaos:
it was funny because I had planned three sidequests planned at the start
their respective triggers:
- starter quest which started when talking with the teacher of the second class (timed event of the second day) which was already disponible before if anyone went to train support/healing magic
- quest of going into hell to rescue a DPMC which was triggered by taking a dark magic book at the library
- rebel atatck with no trigger, I started it when I wanted to do so
somehow they triggered the second one before the first.
no char was edgy and tenebrous, it went more as follows:
“I go to the library and search for a book”
“Ok, which kind of book?”
“a dark magic book”
“ok you summoned a dark mist and the Hellish Expedition quest just triggered”
