I think I am going for the second one tbh just because it makes something less forgottenrealmsesque although more tolkienesque
I remember hearing this somewhere I don’t know where but it was on tv (I don’t wtch it but someone else does)
“I’m one of the top 3 dentists”
“Who’s the 1st and 2nd?”
“Are you a celebrity? If not then you you don’t need to know”
That humor though
Taking inspiration from Tolkien himself makes me feel lame lmao
But I mean most people are taking inspiration from FR nowadays :’)
God growing up with name that ended with an s and every other literature/english teacher telling me to do s’ or s’s. Got to a point where i just didnt give a heck anymore and just randomly decided every time. Considering how i have been told it from like 6 different people for both sides of the argument.
I have heard that you should use James’s because it is a proper noun
HOT NEWS
Do we add another s for the possessive form of a name ending with s? Which is correct, Chris’s chair or Chris’ chair? James’s car or James’ car? Actually, both ways are correct. If a proper name ends with an s, you can add just the apostrophe or an apostrophe and an s. See the examples below for an illustration of this type of possessive noun.
You’re sitting in Chris’ chair.
You’re sitting in Chis’s chair.
Have you seen James’ car?
Have you seen James’s car?
Yeah considering how my names on that list and I have looked it up before im pretty sure it just doesnt matter

I like going to the gym should I be concerned
Depends, scientists are currently researching the effects of going to the gym. Some of the most brilliant people in the field right now are suggesting that the first innocent time you are just going to the gym leads to more dangerous attempts of trying to run and break the law.
