“Water…Right.”
“Ughhh…I‘m so hungry, forgot to eat last night.”
Hunter walked down the stairs to the dining room.
“Wonder what‘s for food.”
You go downstairs to see Ferris with another girl… and someone unfamiliar working in the kitchen. A maid?
She seems to be cleaning up the kitchen. There is pumpkin soup with freshly baked bread on the table, coupled with cups of tea or coffee.
“Well, Ferris, just follow the steps, you’ll be okay.” The black haired girl with a blue jacket stands up, before walking out of the dining room.
“Huh, who was that?”
Hunter looked at the black haired girl leaving.
Magnus exits his room and heads down, forgetting his trident. He heads to the kitchen, whoozy.
“Uh…Where‘s your…trident?”
“My Trident?” Magnus rolled his eyes. “In my room.”
Hunter could see the physical aspects of Magnus’s exhaustion; Magnus was swaying on his feet, bags under his eyes, his skin cold. There was no way he should still be standing.
“I‘m just gonna…”
Hunter slowly dragged Magnus back upstairs.
Magnus weakly resisted.
Ferris look behind, and her face falls black on the instance she sees Hunter, but Magnus came down, looking visibly exhausted.
“…”
But the maid comes over and looks at Magnus.
“Please bring Master Magnus to his room.” She instructed Hunter.
“Damn, your grip is still strong when you‘re tirUH-Ah!”
Hunter let go as he missed a step going up, then he tripped, letting go of Magnus.
The maid holds onto Magnus with one hand and Hunter on the other.
“Please, be careful, Master Hunter.”
Who was she anyway?
Ferris walked behind as well, worried.
“Is he okay?”
“Magnus is fine. Except he‘s just a little sleepy.”
Come to think of it, it’s the first time your eyes have met since the first day of school.
“That is clearly MORE than a severe lack of sleep.”
They arrive at Magnus’ room. The maid lays him down on the bed.
“I’m fine,” Magnus objected, trying to stand up.
“Master Magnus, please lie down.”
The maid insisted.
She starts casting an art.
Probably one of those support artes they speak of in class.
“Damn it I’m fine!”
Magnus waves his arm and stands up. Despite his obvious tiredness, he’s steady.
Hunter slaps Magnus as hard as he can.
“Go to bed!”
He is steady, but the maid is sturdier.
Oh, Poor Magnus got double teamed, getting a slap.
With one hand, she presses Magnus down onto the bed.
And after a while, she lets go of Magnus…
But you suddenly feel really refreshed. The bed now had a small rocking feeling, reminiscent to the ocean. Did she do something to the bed as well? Looking at the bed, you would have no idea that any enhancements were cast on it.
Magnus layed there for a moment, not reacting.
