“I’ll partner with Terry.” Magnus offers. “Like old times.”
“No, Master Faustus. If you are attacked, you will still be in the challenge. However, if both challengers are knocked out, then your time will not be recorded.” Karen replies.
“A chance to see the bots in action.” Terry remarks. “Good for recon. And after that, we shall make plans, got it?” He responds to Magnus’ invitation.
Elise stands ready. “I’ll be honoured to start off the challenge.”

“Alright then. Step out onto the field. Josie will referee and time you guys. Good luck!”
Sara brings the bots out onto the field.
Elise leads the way out. She assumes her opening stance, this time bending down, one hand front, one hand back. She seems ready to charge forward.
The bots whirl to life. Weew weew.
Sure enough, the battle had begun. The timer had started.
Majita casted a quick artes, and a magic shot rippled through towards the first Bot. He then fired another shot at the second, damaging them both.
Elise moved forward, but she wasn’t close enough to attack yet. The first bot began charging an artes. The second bot went closer towards Majita, but Elise is in the way.

Fie wakes up, while still lying on the ground, she looks over at the battle.
Matija then quickly casts Chrono Drive and fires another shot over Elise’s shoulder at Bot 2 at the same spot
“No escape!”
Elise twists a full round, knocking the Bot 2 backwards, and then a bullet hit.
The first Bot casts a Fire Bolt, a fire ball charges at Elise. Elise attempts to block the arte, but to no avail.
“Argh!”
Majita is visibly quicker now though. Elise is too far away from Majita.

Elise stumbles, before she dug her staff inwards.
Majita casts 2 Soul Blurs, as the bot begins to cast another arte. The casting is cancelled, and the bot eats 2 blurs in its face.
And Elise slams onto the first bot, causing it to smash into the other bot. The second bot begins casting an artes after that. Elise charges after the two.

Bot 1: 53% HP
Bot 2: 33% HP
Matija begins to move closer to the bot and once again fires a shot at Bot 2 and Soul Blurs Bot 1
Elise immediately runs after the second bot.
A shot fires at the second bot.
And a smackdown, and the second bot is disabled. It goes inactive…
And the other bot smacks Elise from behind, being so close in proximity, and proceeds to smack Elise again, but is interrupted by Soul Blur.
Elise smacks the head of the bot, sending it away.
“That was a close one. Thanks.”
She begins casting an arte. Majita and Elise are close enough.
The bot begins casting another arte.

Majita 100% HP 60% MP
Bot 1: 40% HP
Faustus finishes up his stretches, then walks over to Ferris. “These bots love their ranged abilities. That may change, but being mobile will likely be beneficial.”
“Yeah. I have to be on my toes as well.”
Ferris remarks.
And…
Elise casts, and a wind blew over the two of them. Majita casts two Blurs in rapid succession.
“Don’t give it time to act!” Elise goes forward, charging at it.

Majita 100% HP, 70% MP
Bot 1: 30% HP
Fie stands up, clearly interested now.
“A desperate stand? Hmm…”
Matija follows in with his bayonet aims for the center of the Bot’s chest and rams it there as hard as possible
“Oh, you’re looking better. Finally noticed me.”
Fie remarks, snarkily.
“Maybe you can get me when you’re awake like this.” She puts on a little happy smile.
