“Oh. Hey there.” Rachel speaks. “Quite a cute little eavesdropper, ain’t cha?” She grins, turning to face James.
“Ain’t you one? You don’t just come downstairs and greet someone as though you prepared for eons. That’s creepy.”
Luckily for you, Ferris doesn’t seem to be listening at all.
“Teach? Don’t you just hold the quartz in the battle orbment and think of the arte a quartz can do?” Fie replies, confused.
Specifically, while holding the quartz in a battle orbment (ARCUS), it takes mana from the Master Quartz and the mana reacts in a specific way to the user’s thoughts. However, it can only react in certain ways, so if a Quartz does not have access to the arte you think of, it will not activate. You can identify your quartz in the Engineering Building in Forsyth’s Military Academy for free.
“Look.”
Fie holds out the ARCUS, flips it open, and presses down onto a black quartz.
And the all familiar casting circles comes out.
Then, the circles fade into black, and envelopes both of them, before fading away.
Magnus does feel slightly lighter on his feet.

As Majita enters the room… He is greeted by two familar faces. Leon and Lifea.
“Yo,” Leon raises his hand up.
“Oh, are those the orbal radios from George? Thanks a bunch! I’ll take these off your hands… Please sit down… I’ll pour you some tea!” Lifea gets up, and takes the radios from Majita. She heads towards the storeroom and unlocks it, going in to place the radios.
“Nothing like a radio to bring me my horse racing bets.” Leon grins.
“Leo! That’s not for you on your bets, stop gambling already!” Lifea exclaims from inside the storeroom, her voice suddenly high-pitched, high-strung.
“Oh hey. I’m just waiting around for the principal to drop off more papers so I can help. It’s not like I have much else to do.”
“Hopefully it stays that way.” Faustus laughs as well. “So, you joined engineering club? That’s cool.”
“Aww. Aren’t cha a cute little one.”
Meanwhile, Ferris is still sitting, buried in her hands.
