At 2:07 AM, Detective Gumshoe was murdered by an unknown force. My client was bathing in a shower of political blood. He killed a political target but, he did not kill Detective Gumshoe. Upon DNA testing of the blood, it contained traces of Heretic Amalord which is not in this game. Hence, he is not the murderer of Detective Gumshoe. We also checked to find his knife bloodied with the same exact blood of Heretic Amalord. We inspected every nook and cranny of his room and found no evidence of Detective Gumshoe in it or on his person.
Additionally, we have an exact log of what Icibalus did last night due to his cooperation which can easily be confirmed by me, the innocent child. I recieved an anonymous tip last night that showed the results of a 100% cop check that can’t be falsified in any way.
Interesting, isn’t it, that my son wants his own death over mine despite me having what he has said to be “2 red checks” on me.
He’s trying to bluff you into thinking he’s town by “not caring about his own survival”.

Appeal to emotions through selflynch is nearly always scum trying to reverse logic it.
That’s the thing. Because of my misread, I am more of a liability to town than a help. If I survive to late game, scum can use that and throw doubt on my reads and possibly win off it.
In any scenario, Icibalus can not be the person who murdered Detective Gumshoe as he can’t be two places at once and killing two people at once is heavily scum-sided.
