Honestly, it was super unfortunate for me. I couldn’t stop Squid’s lynch, because it happened while I was asleep, which made you check me on my non-ascetic night. And also, she just openly claimed neutral way too soon. If Squid lived another day, I suspect you would have checked her and would have been unable to check me before thunderdoming would become important. As a detective claim, you could have been an easy Arsonist mislynch for the mafia as well. Mafia also attacked me the night you checked me, so they knew I was an Arso too probably. I knew pretty much who the scum were quite early on in the game. I was just unsure about if it would be Luxy or Margaret.

Squid had the Enigmatic modifier, so all checks on her would result in preventions. Also Solic was Ascetic, so he couldn’t be checked on even nights.

I was just townreading you, because I knew mafia was responsible for their attack on you. I couldn’t attack you though, because you were either getting nightkilled or a prime mislynch target once it became obvious it’d be an Arsonist game.

Also Detective is better at finding NK than mafia, which is just a design flaw in my opinion. Having an open wolfing scum and 2 killer roles dying early also wouldn’t have made it easy for me to defend myself. All I could have gone for is Framer.

He technically misunderstood how his role worked though. He basically just kept checking the first and second slot every time while ignoring the third one, which is where your Miller adjective was hidden.

Yeah Insanity heavy missplayed there. In short about half of the fault is on him for misunderstanding his role and the possibility that I could have a miller
