NEW SCENE

a woman in a labcoat speaks to a woman in casual clothes, almost looking like pajamas

The woman in a labcoat says “Subject Alpha, I think we can both agree that this was a great test. I appreciate your sacrifice, our experiments with prisoners were never as successful as this. It is clear that we needed someone with an indepth knowledge of the system. Anyways enough with the flattery. The real congratulations is the fact we have managed to bring something from the timestream into the physical world. We’re not entirely sure what adverse consequences there might be from this but at this point I think we can both agree that this is huge.”

The other woman just nods her head.

The woman in the labcoat says “Unfortunately you have to take a month long quarantine to make sure any adverse effects wear off. But we will try to make it as pleasent as possible. Thank you and have a good day.”

The other woman walks off.

Subject Alpha walks to her quarantine in a sealed corridor at the back of the laboratory where the conversation was just had. When she arrives she falls onto her bed and falls unconcious.

She feels somehow, not real. Like she was just abducted by aliens. She feels like a puppet for a couple of unknown others. Will this be the worst mistake she ever made in her life? Only time will tell, for now it is time for sleep
