People who are coming from ToL have completely different ideas and feelings about “spirit of the game”… for example, a lot of the fol mechanics are for me “against the spirit of the game” (for example… that a Knight CS doesn’t cancel when redirected… that’s just completely feeling wrong for me).
Angleshooting is something completely subjective, and that’s a huge problem, because we don’t have the same ideas about the same game…
I’m confused as to what FoL mechanics you feel are against the spirit of FoL

Spirit of the game is playing within the rules and generally not based on mechanics imo.
Though I do agree that knight cs is unfair
I’m not aiming for equal chances of winning…? I have a NK, I have neutrals, I have a lot of different factors. Even a 50% BD winrate isn’t what I’m aiming for.
You should have a fair chance to win as every class, and you should be able to contribute to this goal, both socially and mechanically. But there’s nothing like “equality”
Yeah, and I never play FM, that’s why this concept is 100% new for me.
That’s why “spirit of the game” as angleshooting definition doesn’t work. One comes from FM. One coms from ToL. We have a lot of different opinions about the spirit of the game.
No it doesn’t. It’s just an abusable failsafe for hosts that can’t properly balance their setup.
There is absolutely no reason to keep the rules and not replace it with OGI. OGI is unabusable and has exact definition.
Your only reason right now for having angleshooting is that it covers for hosts failing. Why do we have to put a global rule that punishes other people for doing literally nothing wrong? This rule is opinionated. It is a global opinionated rule. That is not okay.

Something was off about you so I decide to check on you, just like I suspect to debauch Eevee when he was replying mininal before first night and when I connected the dots that I intended Eevee to target the player died, I am death tunneling since then.
