Announcement: Updated Policy on Replacements

The only good enough reason to keep a chat private is if you happen to invite a malicious discord bot that spews NSFW messages all over the discord.

i realize this may be strange for someone who basically only plays comp nowadays

but comp is obviously our forumā€™s least common major form of game

Anyone can be really against it, and doesnt need to give reasons.

I almost had video from sulitā€™s relativeā€™s house

Does that count

Curse them for disassembling that marble track btw

I mean it was mostly a joke that ToL itself ditched it like two years ago

fair
for the record, itā€™s much more common in closed SFM games than fol nowadays.

I use Dead Interaction in WoW:BfA as a way for scum LW to communicate with the scumteam as well as the vengeful passive
:man_shrugging:

marble tracks are so fun

Hasā€¦ has this happened to you?

(Since you arenā€™t removed from scumchat when dead a dead scumteam member can siphon info to Sylvanas)

Uh, I have no idea. Has it?

Like I said
I got stalked and harassed by non-forumers, who used things Iā€™ve said on the forums against me.
Iā€™m extremely wary of what Iā€™m saying and what not.
In mafia chats I normally was way more relaxed, because there was only the host and my partners.
Iā€™m not playing anyways, just take it as warning that privatsphere is important.

That kind of stuff is for DMs, though.

I recommend using an alt for games then tbh

Thatā€™s a very niche worry and while it is a serious one I donā€™t think it necessarily falls on the game to fix when thatā€™s like a ā€œget the police involvedā€ issue

If that ever happens I very much suggest giving law enforcement a ring

I did involve the police. But neithertheless, doxxing is not a thing which will never happen.

You shouldnā€™t be giving out personally identifying info in a mafia or spec chat

I have never. Why do you think I did?

do it publicly like me
