when I spec I know full well that I canāt be a backup
And a lot of the appeal of spec chat is solving the game / discussing the game with other cool people without having to make an actual commitment to the game for time/stress/other reasons
if I have intention to sub then iāll add myself to sub list
sometimes I might not be interested/committed in a game or spec chat doesnāt have many people and so I wonāt spec but also probably wonāt sub
if iām avaliable and willing to sub iāll put myself of sub list, if iām not, I wonāt. Sometimes iāll also be in spec chat but the argument that āspec chat = less subsā is wack

Iām ok with not publicizing chats if itās for personal reasons
spec chats more than scum chats and dead chats because spec chats are not actual game threads and instead a private room for people to discuss the game in.
although @anon6348071 I was under the impression the reason you didnāt want unseen cord publicized was because of personal reasons and not strategical reasons and now I feel less inclined to disallow people from reading that.
