I thought a couple things about his posting were townie when I Iso’d him D1, mainly early game emotions + a particular style of pedantry that I think is >rand V

I think this is slightly >rand V, specifically the part about being happy that it could get rerolled because he wanted to be scum, I think it would be sort of unlikely for scum to think of something like that

Mist swaps votes relatively naturally and feels comfortable in thread. I like the fact that they had a “unique” take on Orange in them being present SoD meaning that they try to milk their own created meta even though the argument itself does not really hold much logical weight for me. I don’t have too much experience with with them, but light townlean.

I like this post. Feeling Vulgard town from here. I especially like their read on Orange (not sure on validity of it, but in isolation, I like from Vulgard that they made this argument)

this post is kind meh, they quoted a massive wall and basically just said ‘I like this’ with like one piece of elaboration, it feels vaguely pockety

you know thats just like terrible, prob not scumwise, but like as people wise. Dont do that

so they wouldn’t fake these emotions. I feel fairly comfortable at slotting them town. The one caveat I have is this boredness exchange which read slightly awkward, but I can see that as an awkward backtrack to trying to townlead and people immediately putting you on the spot for trying to.

this one is a bit better, I think the depth of thought and nuance in this post is a good look for Solic. It also doesn’t really feel like the sort of read scum would think to fake?

also, a thing I notice throughout Solic’s Iso is that he’s being kind of pedantic about minor details, like here

That hedgy wallposts argument only works, if it is actually Birdo reading into other people’s alignments. Not just sharing some random backstory from another game… to me. In an ISO this does look like it’s masking a wallpost, but actually it was both questions from Geyde/Arete.

I think that sort of pedantry is likely to be >rand V, wolves tend to be more focused on placating people whereas Solic doesn’t really see concerned about that? you could argue that he’s doing it for towncred but he doesn’t really seem to be trying to milk cred from it

the rest of his posts after that seem basically NAI, he asks some questions but they’re not, like, super AI for him

overall I’d say Solic’s a townlean, he only really had a couple of posts that pinged me and a bunch of posts that I found slightly townie. Not super confident on this given that his postcount is so low, but I don’t really want to go here today.

also I basically buy that he believed my PR claim over Marshal’s and I’m not dead

in my admittedly very limited experience with scum Solic he can fake conviction on reads that he knows aren’t true (thinking here of him deathtunnelling me in SFoL 53, though that’s admittedly backwards of the situation I’m looking at here) so I don’t want to give him too much credit for seemingly believing his reads

Most of my burns in the past few years have actually been on objects so hot the skin just instantly dies and it doesn’t even blister
