Balance starting good and evil king games

Basically by BD game plan as any class is as follows:

1: Find an alch to buddy with
2: Ask my highest unclaimed scum read for logs
3: If they refuse tell the alch to bomb them
4: If their logs contradict then hang them
5: If someone else should be able to confirm the logs then go to step 2 with them.
6: Next night repeat at step 2 until you win.

You’re still telling me a whisper meta, which I already said is the only way we have to get kings faction.

Now as a confirmed BD, you can get people to claim to you, but you’re saying you just randomly ask people for claims even before you’re converted? That’s insane to me. Your whole scenario requires all the perfect blocks to be in place and for everyone to trust you. You’re scenario trashes multiple days to fulfill, but with any competent nk and evils, you’ll have at least 4 deaths by the time you get around to enacting your plan. Your plan there also means you have to have an alch cooperate with you. Maybe we just get different games, but alch almost always wants to turn on BD at the first chance. I can honestly say I’ve never seen any game ever play like that. You live in some perfect world.

It works because I don’t actually need everyone to trust me. Just enough people to start coordinating them. And since the classes I need are also the ones that are most likely to claim when asked I am able to consistently get what I need.

Alchs rarely do that if they are already working with a specific player. I have never been betrayed by an Alch while doing this and I would often get at least 2 evils lynched using the whispers alone with no other info even while unconfirmed and unclaimed.

Also my way is better because it isn’t whisper King meta. It isn’t even whisper prince meta.

its just whisper SOMEONE and work with it.

Basically being able to gather info through whispers as any class whenever I feel the need to is just fun. Even if I don’t actually get the class claim I want I still get info by their reaction.

Always good king = BD 100% winrate? Also no RNG.

This particular argument doesn’t apply to class assignment

@NuclearBurrito not RNG?

Oh that.

That’s RNG.

How is that adressing the problem?
We are trying to make
Good king win percentage = bd win percentage
evil win percentage = evil win percentage

Win percentages don’t mean much at the moment with players of all skill levels mixed together
Trying to flatten the percentages without grouping players in lobbies based on skill is going to make the game less competitive
