Balance starting good and evil king games

Right now, evil king is 100% wrost for BD and better for unseen/cult.
For me, starting king’s faction shoudn’t have ANY effect on the percentage of the game winner.

Right now, as an evil king, you can be the complete troll, wrost player ever and still be better for unseen then bd.

Tol Should aspire to:
Good king win percentage = bd win percentage = evil king win percentage =evil win percentage

Those are my suggestion:

  1. when the starting evil king die by assasin/butler/get executed, the cult/unseen can’t kill/convert anyone the following night.
  2. when the starting bd king get executed, the town can’t executed anyone on the court the following day, bd players lose their ability for 1 night.

Replacments for rule 1 (1 of the following):
when the starting evil king die by assasin/butler/get executed

  1. give 2 random blue dragon players 1 night immunity
  2. resurrect a random DK
  3. give 1 random bd player convert immunity

No

Just no unseen shall not be punished for killing there own king

You don’t punish the unseen for something they didn’t do like a butler.

It’s not about punisihing its about rewarding+ balancing the game

It’s not balanced what you suggested

Why not instead focus on nerfing the King?

Order Execute is really buff, and is certainly a decent part of the problem. It allows you to DF and then OE to nab two kills before anybody can react as EKing and to essentially hardcarry as GKing. It’s too much.

Thinking 1 OE will be enough

Killing a prince with decide fate and 1 OE is good enough

Even if you nerf the king to do nothing at all,
Good king win percentage != bd win percentage

Honestly I’d be okay with that but would prefer DF be the King’s only method of reliably killing somebody.

I feel as if he only had 1 OE the butler could posion and they could put someone else up

Yeah pretty much

But the RNG of other classes, including Neutrals, also has an effect on the outcome

So I think we just need to bring it way closer as opposed to exactly the same

5 guards and 1 OE would be good enough for the starting king

At the same time

You don’t want the evil king to be able to do nothing

Yeah i do think kings should have abilities that why I think you should reward Blue dragon on killing an evil king and punish for killing an evil king

Any thing that stops a faction from doing anything is bad game design if that is what you use to balance it

You punish them from killing. GK

What if they want to make sure a EK on throne? Well can’t do that if they get punished

There is a punish right now and its not blancing the game at all.

It’s not. Doesn’t mean you make it worse

Right now it is taking away BD main way to kill someone.

What your suggesting is making sure unseen/can’t do anything

Which I would prefer always a good king than That

Another idea, instead of prevent people from using their ability you can add some dead interaction and adding a death night, or give 2 random bd players 1 night death immunity
