That’s completely fair but consider pathos (emotion) here.
They are confused and the only help they’ve been receiving was from a player who they thought was incredibly likely scum.
It’s the sort of point where they have completely lost their own direction in thread and it shows.
I agree that it has been out of range of newbie scum, but some their reads like the lymphoma and HTM feel so forced which is the reason I still have reservations. I still put Lymphoma as caught scum, jake maybe via associations, and then the third one has me kinda lost

going through the posts again, it was a bunch of website pic of mafia sites and images edited in paint like the LHF pic that would require a keyboard, he did say he could type via google voice recognition and digital keyboard but it felt weird that instead of using those to help him type out he resorted to use a bunch of things like the LHF image instead

A lot of their actions have been scummy with almost 0 town motivation for the actions that have accured. His overemphasis that no matter what he wouldnt vote you, is odd. Thats not a townread thats just a justification to not vote a scumbuddy in my eyes. Plus you seem extremely defensive when u two are associated in messages
Weren’t you the one who said not to judge actions as scummy/townie, but instead the motivation behind them? Just because something isn’t town motivated does not also mean that it is scum motivated.

That is true… but why would Eevee randomly not post anything but pictures? If they could like that after as scum why didn’t they do it before. This is the thing that is making me stumped tbh.
Because, as a scum who is listed as a townie, you don’t want to question it too much because if people start thinking about it, that’s just more work you’ll have to do to make yourself look more town.
But as a townie, if you listen to their reasoning, you can see if they list you because “You seem safe” or if they list you because “You said XYZ, with in that context would be townie”
If they establish fake injuries as a way to do less work as scum to make themselves look more town, then people will pick up on it and suspect them because “that’s what they usually do”
You always want to try new things, and break previously established character so that people can only judge you by the current game, and not meta you based on previous games.
Im just gonna say no matter what if they dont give an XYZ before hand yeah question it, even as scum I would question it. Makes you look even more locked “town” if you do. Working as scum is apart of the job description. I have ignored bad townreads before also because most times at that point, people you already have locked as scum in your mind will TR trying to get favor, and at that point its pointless to fight them cause their logic isnt there.
