because if shurian is evil, then we dont have a baron and we do have a spy
if im the evil twin of a lunatic do i think im demon?
what happens with vortox and mayor? (in nonstandard games of course)
i found myself agreeing with a lot of things you were saying and procedures you were taking safety wise. as wolf if you knew of those things you could have left them out and i wouldnt take note, but saying those things make me think your town.
plus the fact that other peoples townreads of you seem to be grounded on some good evidence
plus that whole interaction with wazza yesterday (waz doesnt seem like the person to fake something like that ngl. maybe eevee but not waz. sorry waz). while this wouldnt be much on its own it definitely adds in with the other stuff quite nicely.
while shurian just has mech!confirm tagged to them, and i dont tend to believe mech!confirm at face value, especially from the general public. they dont have nearly the same standards of rigor as i do for that sort of thing, so i tend to be suspicious about them until i can learn the details just as a precaution.
then when i saw everyone’s arguments about me (TL’s is the one in particular that made me realize), thats what did it.
because they made sense. if it werent me they were speaking about, id believe them. so that made me realize that one of my/their assumptions were wrong. i was looking at their argument, and the main part of it that didnt seem to be well-based in evidence (and the one that stood out to me the most re: suspicious as a precaution) was their assumption that shurian was confirmed. then i looked into it more and it seemed like no one actually said, (or really knew, based on the initial answers to when i asked about it) why they’re confirmed. so i decided to push the thread.
perhaps eevee was in contact with magnus somewhat, to tell him who to kill. im pretty sure magnus whispered eevee without much of a fuss. perhaps this would explain eevee getting mad about us proposing that the kills were rng, when it was really his master plan?
oh i kinda answered this above when i was saying why i think your town.
If you’re the evil twin of a lunatic, you’ll be told they’re lunatic.
Just like how the demon will know who the lunatic is (and what actions they “take” at night)
@Simon If both Good and Evil would win at the same time, Good wins. The primary reason for this is the situation which Arete outlined (in which the Demon is hanged at F3, thus simultaneously eliminating all living Demons and reducing the game to two living players), but the Vortox/Mayor dilemma would resolve in a similar fashion, as both teams would simultaneously win with a F3 nolynch.
It’s important to note, however, that certain abilities are actually capable of suspending the wincon of a team; for example, the Evil Twin’s ability, which explicitly states “Good cannot win while [both twins] live.” If a game were to come down to the Evil Twin, the good twin, and the Demon, Evil would win automatically because hanging either twin would reduce the game to two players and create an Evil win (hanging the good twin would additionally cause an Evil victory through the Evil Twin ability), and hanging the Demon would create a simultaneous win in normal cases, except Good cannot win because both twins are still alive and so Evil wins because the town was reduced to two living players.
