You know what I think he doesn’t get it. Registering falsely means that, for all intents and purposes, you ARE the character or alignment you’re registering falsely as. In the case of Spy here, they may incorrectly register as Good aligned and/or as a Townsfolk/Outsider. This means they can appear as Good aligned to investigations, they can count as Good for the Cult Leader’s ability, and so on.

It doesn’t. But they can cause the Cult Leader to turn good when Cult Leader becomes the alignment of a living neighbor.

Because the Monsta is not a character that anyone is, themselves. Because of this, an extra Minion takes the place of the missing Demon.
