just because it can be played in its own box doesnt make it not an expansion in my books
its this new version of resistance, that can be played along side it if you have the original game too
but instead of forcing you to buy the original in order to play, you can just play in this box if you want

You can’t play alongside it. Everything in resistance, every single item is spy themed and everything is reproduced for avalon in medieval theme.

No but I’ve done enough barebones research to decide to ask for Resistance plus expansions for my birthday instead of Avalon

Most people probably wouldn’t group D&D with a game clearly meant for adults due to having adult content as the selling point
i dont have any of these and i really dont intend on buying them. too expensive for me.
