The Golem is a good role. Change my mind.
I was going to answer what happens to a Golem who nominates a Virgin and realised the Virgin dies.
Because lol! Iām a dummy and forget the Golem was an outsider.
A new outsider who can only nominate once. If they nominate anyone except the Demon, their nominee dies.
Having 2 confirmed non demon players by itself is good. As they are confirmed not Demon.
On the other the price is that one of them is unable to nominate again and the other confirmed non demon player is dead. Which can hurt the good team a lot if itās a strong role such as investigative (Fortune Teller, Chambermaid, Flowergirl, Snake Charmer etc) or a protective (Monk, Soldier, Innkeeper etc).

Everyone knows it is in play, but each night it chooses someone. If it noms them the next day and they get executed, the fearmongerās team wins
Itās hard to explain but I would say it depends script wise.
The basic premise is that not being only to nominate again gives evil an extra win condition of living to F3 with Golem and 2 evils alive, resulting in an auto evil win.
But you can do other fancy golem stuff such as with Fang Gu, Witch, Pit Hag and Tinker.
Or put it in a script with lots of ācannot dieā effects.
I think the problem is
It is super script dependent
But unlike Heretic it doesnāt even have that many interesting interactions
