BotF IX - Call for Distress - Evil wins

The only thing that worries me is that one villager appears evil to the BH.

I think I have played games with bounty hunter before

One villager doesn’t appear evil, one townsfolk is evil with BH in play

yoooo there he is

Acting mad that you’re a role requires that you at least com ppl lain about being that role a bit. Atlas hasn’t even expressed any annoyance at being BH at all. He’s obviously not mad about it.

yup, meaning if there is a BH in play then we have exactly one evil villager

… what?

Oh, good thing I checked in before bed. So Bounty Hunter does not have a Townsfolk that ā€œlooks evilā€ to them. They create an evil Townsfolk. Literally, one Townsfolk would have been told that they were evil and they win with evil and not with good. They don’t know who Demon/Minions are and Demon/Minions don’t know them, because knowing your teammates is exclusive to Demon/Minion, not an evil Townsfolk. But there would literally be an extra evil vote on the board.

Oh. I checked and you’re right.

It’s also worth noting that that evil Townsfolk knows there’s a Bounty Hunter in play, even if they don’t know who it is, because the Bounty Hunter has to be in play for them to be evil.

Typo of complain.

Got it.

No, Leafia, ā€œmadā€ in this context doesn’t mean ā€œangryā€, it means ā€œcrazyā€. You know, like ā€œstark raving madā€?

can you accept my whisper plserino

Ah okay.

Like, that person has to act like they genuinely believe the thing they’re being mad about.

So in the case of Pixie, it’s ā€œyou act like you genuinely believe that you are the Townsfolk character you saw at the start of the gameā€, which would logically include contesting should someone else claim it because all characters are unique and if you’re that character, the other person can’t be.
