a traveler is basically a player who can join or leave the game at any point. Traveler characters are publicly known, but their alignment is not. However, they’re also very easy to kill, as they can be exiled at any point during the day and can be exiled the same day as an execution. They also don’t count for the Evil win condition and for certain characters such as the Scarlet Woman.
