the main idea is so that you can process attacks in like 30 seconds or sth

ftr my perk was i can’t get knocked out which is pretty op because it basically lets me take another hit regardless of how strong it is

i’m guessing i was the strongest attacker in the game and ironically i didn’t even need to kill anyone

only reason Arc did that much damage is because zone decided to break all the seals

because he had a crystal which buffed his attack per seal broken

give targets that cant dodge >> chance of hitting
strong abilities that like give players 2 health instead of 1
etc

this health/attack/stat system is cool and all
but it was so complicated it seemed super hard to do quickly

tbh my perk shouldn’t exist because it meant i just auto won every 1v1

without crits the first attacker always wins and it usually takes 2 hits to ko anyone

except for me i always win

Then problem is that success or failure of most ppl will rely purely on rng which isnt really satisfying.

fair enough
straight hp is dry
straight rng is unsatisfying
a mix of both is hard to host

tldr game design hard

although a script where i could just push a button that says ā€œarctic attacksā€ and get the damage calc there in half a second would be pretty good
