Not really, it’s just that people need to learn in order to start learning how to read FPS’es.
Like Kyo’s FPS in SFoL60 was pretty much obviously scum-driven as he was pretty much claiming Inq to fly under the radar while mine in ToS2 was town-driven as a PR would want to survive.
X fake-claimed Prince, so they’re town or X fake-claimed Vet, so they’re scum are both level 0 thoughts as it doesn’t bother to address the motivation and processes that led to a person thinking that way.

There are some exceptions to it, some people are usually fake claiming/RTing a lot as town, so they won’t be automatically scumread for it

Wolves rarely claim unless backed in a corner or are preparing to FPS, Powerwolf, or Deepwolf (but you may not even need to get the deepwolf, its just an option on the table if needed.)
Yeah, in setups that are 100% role-dependent then wolves need to fake-claim.
In vanilla setups like Cop13 or 6d6 you don’t see wolves fakeclaiming PRs often.
you see town fakeclaiming correct follows on deepwolves about as often as you see wolves claiming PRs, which is disappointing but i feel like a town PR will always CC someone claiming their role in a setup like cop13/vig10/etc (setups with 1-2 PRs) as opposed to considering why they’re doing it
which is kind of your point earlier, and i was pretty close to claiming TI on D1 in ToSFM2 but i didn’t want to put a target on my back while i had multiple good tracking targets
i’d say that people don’t leave cover for PRs in those setups very often either, although this site doesn’t host setups like that that often but in JK9 nobody really tried leaving JK cover except me/chloe and kind of eevee/FK
i think there was an adequate amount of seer cover in the last cop 13er but the cop died N1 in that setup so

Low key alot of the fpses are really annoying and anti town but because “better” players do them they get away with them.
Like if someone like memesky did the stuff some ppl do hed get banned, but because the ppl who do them have more respect they get away with dumb fpses which legit help nothing.
On this site? Yes, on others, no.
Like, unless it’s a vig on an open setup or an IC then you should always be lynching wolfy PR claims without CC as they are often wolves trying to bait out a CC as what I’ve told Merc to do in that JOAT9 game.
