Chronomancer Poll

Even though the chronomancer looks cool, I still prefer Physician

For 3 reasons:

  1. The Physician Model is cool, and I like the play style of Physician (when prince isn’t outed.)

  2. If Physician gets replaced, then I can’t continue the meme of getting physician 8/10 games I play.

  3. Idk how how Time Warp exactly works, but from what it looks to me, you can just spam it on prince, and gg, prince can’t be touched. (Unless you kill/convert the Chronomancer)

i’m just going to point out, like I did back when I was suggesting this idea in the first place, that spam protecting Prince exists on both Phys and Chronomancer and Unseen and Cult both already have tools to deal with it.

But the main issue with phys is that it appears too often. That would only make the issue worse. All classes seem boring when you get them often

I think I’d prefer that, haven’t seen many Knights or CWs in a lot of my games, but Physicians and Alchemists seem to be everywhere

I like lowering the phys spawn rate, it’s one of those claims that gets screwed over due to claim space for it.

It allows healing bleeding, but only limited,
it allows healing, but not chain healing,
and it can do even more…

But it was more intended to be an Alchemist than a Physician replacement, so I dunno…

Imo the way to make people less unhappy with Phys is to make him spawn less often. I like Phys but I keep getting him over and over again which makes me bored tbh.

The only current solution is to spawn Alchemist even more often, which is not good for the fun of all other 15 people in game.
But maybe my Quack class suggestion could tackle this problem, too…

I’d just rework the Alchemist into a BD class with only one bomb, no night immunity, and an additional day ability for utility.

That class is just bad as it’s a pain to get rid of pro-BD Alchemists as scum and if you only get Alchemists as your healers then you basically depend on neutrals for protection and healing as BD.

Then it’s a weaker prince tbh

Well, I agree that replacing the Alchemist could solve problems, not the problem that the Alchemist isn’t fun to play which doesn’t exist but the problems about alchemist ruining the play of others…
and that is why I originally suggested the Quack.

The new 3-stoneskin Alch is encouraged to lean evil now to survive the night.

But honestly the problem there isn’t even that Alch can’t protect itself, it would be that all Alchs would always claim D1 because betting on a friendly Town is better than praying to not die N1

Frankly, the Alchemist is a terrible spin on the Survivor, an already poor role design. If they are strong they become too much of a kingmaker while if they are weak it becomes impossible to win with them. I’d rather rework them into a BD class or rework them into true survivors, such as removing Stoneskin but allowing them to heal themselves as a survival mechanism.
