Journalist (Blue Dragon Social)

Passive: Secure Channels - Your vote can’t be tampered with.

Day ability: Arrange interview - Chose a Neutral class. If anyone has that class they you will anonymously talk to them. Alternatively you may choose to talk to the Mastermind or cult leader. If no one has the class you will instead talk to the fool unknowingly. If there are 2 of the class you will talk to one of them randomly.(Infinite)

Night ability: Check source - Chose a target. You will immediately be told if it is your interviewee. Can’t find the MM Untill N4(Infinite)

Reporter (Unseen Social)
Passive: Secure Channels - Your vote can’t be tampered with.

Day ability: Arrange interview - Same as with journalist but you can choose any non unseen/cult class.

Night Ability: Check source - Same as journalist

I dont really see a problem with it, but does it add anything, seems like mostly a midlly untrustworthy information source that might take the place of a more useful investigator in a match.

First of all you can check to see if some classes are even in the game at all (Fools can screw you up but you can just check if there is a fool first). This lets you confirm the existence of an alchemist. It also means that if for whatever reason the NK has found an Unseen or the Unseen has found the NK that they have someone to tell. The other ability means that they can be a traditional invest for a specific class.

The Reporter on the other hand is more for negotiating with an enemy than questioning them.
