Not really, just seems like a massive annoyance imo.
Just seems like both BD and Unseen would want them dead asap since they can out both of the BD and Unseen/Cult key classes if they are given time to gain info on everyone.
Why would the Unseen/Cult want them dead? They are giving them the info they find so that only helps them.
Oh I like this class, very well balanced and has an interesting goal (Basically Sorcās old goal)

This is basically the same problem as Sorcerer: Itās not Neutral. Having an Accomplice spawn in a game is an instant disadvantage for BD, especially since thereās no Inq-like counterpart.
The thing is that he is intended to be able to claim any invest including obs. That requires the full effect to be sufficiently useful.
This is an interesting idea. I love the thought of realizing a confirmed Obs was actually untrustworthy later on in a way thatās not simply conversion. Investigatives tend to be very easily believed, and this element of doubt would be interesting.
This doesnāt solve the problem. Alchemist and Mercenary change factions on a dime and just want to survive with the winning team - thatās Neutral. Fool doesnāt give a whit about who else wins. Scorned is slanted toward Evil but her effect on the overall game is so limited that itās not a balance problem.
Accomplice would be set out to destroy the BD, which means sheās not Neutral and throws off balanced class lists.
I actually already make a class with essentially that wincon called the esper. Iāll try and find it real quick.
Thatās also a huge buff to NK - NK should be alone at the beginning of the game.
Iād say Goal: To survive until the end of the game.
It works for Alch, it could work for Accomplice. Accomplice could put her efforts toward helping whoever she chooses. It would feel very different to play than the Alchemist.
