I saw Strangler saying that we need a neutral investigative on discord, so just whipped up a quick one for funsies :wink:

The Analyst [Neutral Investigative]
Immune to Conversion
Objective: Survive(?)

Passive: Studious
Immune to Occupation.

Passive: Inconspicuous
You appear as a member of the same faction as your Investigator.

  • Note that if you get investigated by Unseen/Cult this does let them know essentially that you are Analyst.

Day Ability: Fact Check (2 uses)
Check to see if the faction of someone previously investigated has changed.

Night Ability: Investigate (3 Uses)
Discover the faction of the target player.

Night Ability: Discovery (Infinite Uses)
Discover something about the target player. The first time this is used on a specific player, it will reveal their original class type. The second time, it will reveal their current class type.

How so? Investigative abilities help all factions.

The neutral survivor right now (not king) is alchemist. It can heal, a generally BD ability, but can alos kill.

The analyst COULD team up with unseen, but it would be like a neutral king trying to side with unseen; you would only do it for the fun.

Well, yeah. That’s the point. Since you aren’t aligned to any faction, you can choose. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Because they appear as BD, they will likely just pretend to be an obs or paladin… Also, it needs an ability like the alchemist’s stoneskin.

No night immunity is the trade off for appearing inconspicuous. Even still, I did change the Inconspicuous passive to better help the chances of the Analyst’s survival.

Maybe add an ability at night to kind of mind link with someone.
or the ability to send a hidden whisper.
so you can safely send information to whomever you’re siding with in order to survive in the game.
