No. The blue dragon shouldn’t have a class that allows the prince to die. It’s already hard for evils to kill an outed prince. The only version of this that I would be accept would be a ToL amnesiac.
No. Neutrals are convert immune for a reason. And what if the unseen have already outed themselves to a neut? That would be unfair.

also backup Prince isn’t bad if you actually read it, it’s just there’s something that makes people scream in terror when people include specific backups in their setups for some reason

Like Squire is the closest thing to Amnesiac i’d like to see in ToL, because I don’t think having a Neutral that can take alignments could be a good thing for the game, especially with the issue of convert caps and in-faction promotions.
Plus, it only adds swing, while having a Universal Backup only reduces swing.
All Neutrals except Inquisitor and Mercenary are objectively scum, because they basically have to harm Town in some way to win.
Even if you don’t say that, you’ve literally just cut off all the possibilities for the main scum factions to communicate with neutrals and convince them to side with them, because Diplomat exists.
Say what you want about his effects at LyLo. He is likely to heal 1-2 people before then for the towncredit alone before it gets to that.
Also unlike with the vanilla survivor it is often safer to stick with BD in LyLo because you can heal chain.
Not just that. It leaves you open to being caught by a princess, observer, Knight or Hunter.
The possibility of an instant loss and loss of leverage outweigh the rewards of a faster game
By that logic, Nuclear, all NKs should never kill and side with BD because they might get caught by Princess, Observer, Knight or Hunter.
Kills are risky, sure, but I’d argue killing as Alchemist is 100% worth it if you actually use your skill and judgement to determine whether killing someone is a good idea.
Now the point isn’t that they always do this (if it was then converting them would be pointless). However it happens enough that calling them objectively scum is just false
