Completely remove Pretender or a overhaul with new objective

Swingy for the Pretender, either 6 royals spawn or just Prince for instance.

ANARCHY!

Give it powers based upon how many royals spawn and let it know how many royals spawn
And as royals decrease powers do too.

Itā€™s bad because neutrals all have that objective they can because neutral king but pretender is forced to.

Make it a fun interesting class that has the option.

Also starting neutral king is needed back in the game no matter what people say

Thatā€™s probably a solution for the Pretender in isolation, but I just see hypercomplex class for my eyes now or at least I wouldnā€™t know what implementation this could be.

With 6 royals itā€™s basically a NK then or something? That also feels problematic for balance.

It really isnā€™t.

Also. You havenā€™t actually answered the question.

Why is needing the King DEAD necessarily bad?

Itā€™s boring compared to other neutrals doesnā€™t allow others to step up because pretender will just get king.

yes it is neutral king wasnā€™t problematic

Become King != Kill king

Why is wanting the starting king dead a problem.

Because it discourages others becoming king and generally isnā€™t fun

Yes it is problematic.

The Neutral King resolves like a BD King that can suddenly turn Evil at a whim in the late game. Thatā€™s problematic when we are talking about a class who NEEDS to be scumread rather than mechanically confirmed like Alch.

No it doesnā€™t.

Yeah so pretender becomes neutral king?

Lol contradiction 101

yes it does

Elected Kings have every single night prior to being elected to be used for mechanical confirmation.

You shouldnā€™t be electing someone that you havenā€™t already confirmed, or at least think you have confirmed.

No because elected kings are not starting kings.

So? what does that change?

That makes no sense
