Main problem with 1 & 2 is 1 can be done by town and 2 could be part of scum plan to make town doubt Arete (should they be town). I think 3 is reasonable paranoia but still wouldn’t be enough for me to reverse that townread on Arete.

I would lynch Gorta though.

I feel like 2 is my weakest point for exactly the reason

I think 1 was a little misrepresented; they were the chief pusher of mole and last on the wagon for conduit although they did voice their suspicions at times

Bus D1 -> Chill D2 -> Active ML D3 -> LHF ML D4 would have gotten them to a win

you’re starting with the conclusion ‘Arete is a wolf’ and trying to figure out how the available evidence fits that data, which is leading you to confbias yourself into coming up with ways that it could in theory make sense

this read is kind of a prime example of that, you’re not starting with the data you have and thinking ‘does this make more sense if Arete is town or if Arete is scum,’ you’re starting from the perspective ‘Arete is scum’ and trying to come up with ways that e.g. the Dat kill fit into that universe

are you scum siding? Here’s the deal. Alice townread me for a poor reason, which is something she does when pocketing me. You coming out and doing a 180 on Alice’s position is kind of scummy
