Conduit
90% of Conduit’s ISO is just townreading Arete. The other 10% is townreading Eli and reluctantly vote Wazza. Their tone isn’t terrible, but the lack of content is something I hate from them. They don’t have any disagreements and just follow Arete. They don’t even ask why they should be voting Wazza and don’t make any visible effort to read Wazza. I also don’t see many meaningful questions asked and some things do look overly performative. I put this as a scum lean

the reasoning being that if everyone buys it, scum won’t be able to afford the vigilante and so we’re denying them 1 KPN

ALSO I asked and how many votes individual people have is displayed on the EoD votecount for a plurality elim so we’ll know if someone didn’t

One of the main points for arete being town - they advocated for collective action that would, if succeeded, would eventually catch the scum not spending their points

But how feasible is this plan?
Lets see if this plan makes sense from scum!arete’s perspective

1 person dies d1: 10v3 or 11v2(ignoring noot for now)
1 person dies n1: 9v3 or 10v2
1 person dies d2: 8v3, 9v2, or 10v1

By this time, if scum successfully was on top wagon, they would have 7 points. They can now coordinate a votesteal. Keeping this in mind:

1 person dies n2: 7v3, 8v2, or 9v1
1 person dies d3: 6v3, 7v2, or 8v1 (or town win)

In a 6v3 votesteal happens and scum instawins.
But in a 7v2 or an 8v1,they’re still a long ways off from actually being able to win the game.

So although this might be scum trying to gain towncred, it is most definitely against their interests to follow this plan.

I’m tempted to give Insanity a pass for today on the grounds that they’re one of a handful of people producing anything resembling readable content

When Insanity lightly attacks them, aroot kinda just says “well said, town” which is a weird resonse.

the last one I think is more likely to come from scum. the thing about complaining about the thread being dead is that it’s super easy to do from any alignment’s PoV since it doesn’t require producing any actual content, but it doesn’t actually do anything to make the thread not be dead . additionally, by recognizing that the problem is a problem but not actually doing anything to change it, it points to them willfully not doing anything to change it, rather than just being really busy or something.

Accurate analysis in the face of a dead thread. Going for active discussion + looking in to different ways of reading

One of stsrting members of wazza’s wagon, but it 's simply for an activity tell - for indivoduals that dont know wazza’s alignment, they can judt regard this as a “oh wazza’s busy”- instead they look into it deeply. As previously noted before, pushing on insubstantial evidence.

if(/when) I die overnight don’t treat the bottom section as some sort of privileged category full of wolves that you should sheep, my wolfreads are not going to be particularly good in this gamestate and I’m not actually convinced that ‘people who are pinging me’ is likely to contain more wolves than ‘people who I have as null’

Like I could buy Cloned’s thing about Arete being a wolf bussing Wazza in most worlds (even if I semi think Arete is town). Arete should have died over Insanity because Arete just got a wolf out and is a pretty good player, which wolves usually kill early enough (especially if Arete just got a wolf out)

You’re forgetting that there’s people dumb enough to think Arete is a wolf right now, so killing them wouldn’t be as smart as killing Insanity who everyone is convinced is town. Why kill someone when you can throw shade on them and misyeet them that way?

It’s definitely a Conduit Cheese team I think. Stop with the deepwolf paranoia now everyone. If we play like that, scum will win.
