I’m noticing that I am internally experiencing doubts about Moleland despite thinking the case against him is a Good Case With Good Points

I’m going to try and make a list of things that are causing said doubts so I can try to figure out if they’re actual good reasons or if my brain is just being dumb

  • there’s been a lack of noticeable resistance to the Moleland list, some people have called him down but no one’s really tried to stop it
    • probably not actually a good point? there’s only one wolf left and wolves on this site don’t usually hard-align like that
  • a couple people on the fringes of my PoE have given reads on him that kind of feel like TMIing him V
    • I think this is kind of a dumb reason because it relies on preflipping those people and interpreting their intentions as ‘TMIing him V’ rather than ‘soft-defending a partner’
  • I think he legitimately believes that he’s playing this game the same way he would as town
    • pretty sure he thought that in JoaT^2 too
  • he’s actually sort of trying to solve the game, which means keeping him around is better than keeping e.g. Derps around in worlds where both are V
    • I think this is a legitimate point even though it doesn’t make him town
  • there doesn’t have to have been a busser on Wazza, Mole fits the profile of a busser best of anyone on the wagon but that doesn’t mean he was one, wolves could have just been AFK
  • Mole is still here and still talking to me, rather than just giving up and trying to reduce spew

not going to lie I really hate Light doing nothing all day, checking in just before EoD, basically saying ‘I think Mole is town but I’m not going to do anything about it,’ and then dipping

idk if I hate it enough to try to CFD though
