I think the nightkill (and more broadly, the nightkills this game in general ) are more likely to come from you than from Gorta because for lack of a better way to phrase it Gorta makes very boring nightkills and the nightkills have not been boring

What you’re failing to consider here is that this is not early game, and killing anyone else would actually be straight up unoptimal for Gorta. Cloned is tunneling you, you’re tunneling me, I’m the person everyone had next-in-line after PKR. Killing anyone but Lemon would actually be more dangerous than killing the Neut.

I need to think about the neut check thing, and how it would line up with people, but that will come later because mobile.

You’re also assuming that I was the one who made the Leafia kill, which would be right after subbing in because the day ended. The other reason is kind of angleshooty so I won’t go there. But why couldn’t my other scummates have made that kill instead?

The nightkill would make the most sense from Gorta because I townleaned him in my ISO, Arete townreads him and scumreads me, and Cloned scumreads Arete. Having Lemon die doesn’t reveal any info, so it would be a very safe choice for him, as we’re busy reading each other.

Here’s what happens if I am a wolf. I kill Cloned, push Arete, and would have the support to get rid of Arete because the NKs would look extremely bad for Arete in this situation. I don’t think we have ever been scum together, but I am a strategist. If I am framing Arete I kill Cloned. The whole thing of being a scum is pushing a narrative and making up information that supports it. The Lemon kill does not make sense from a scum!gorta world here.

like, to explain what I mean, when Gorta was deciding non-PR-related nightkills in SFoL 64 he basically just suggested or ‘kill the town leaders/consensus townies/SPKs’ (or made PR-related kills
(n.b. these aren’t the kills that ended up happening but this is to give an idea of his thought process)

I do play safer because it’s very easy to lynch Leafia and most of the times people won’t listen to Leafia, so why would I kill that. I take down the town leaders and try to take their place. If I can’t take their place I try to let the town go crazy and implode.

the initial assumption of NKA actually being useful instead of being a “who can think one more step ahead of everyone else” is wrong here
but nothing that is damning here; might be more evidence for poor reasoning to kill Appel

the obvious thing that’s making me slightly hesitant is that I’m still alive even though I’ve been tunnelling you, but I think that makes sense when considering the fact that cloned is tunnelled on me and Gorta has been Strongly Considering me, so leaving me alive in the hopes that I get miscuddled makes sense even if I’m right

Right now Arete has had some wolf-equity the whole game, but ALSO a lot of town-equity, even if I don’t like the way they immediately jumped to almost locking me as scum even before they analysed the nightkill.

Whereas Gorta has had a lot of wolf-equity during the early game, and the only saving point is them pushing Light during EoD4 or so – and it’s actually bigger than it sounds like. That’s as far as I read. Their behavior towards their read on me/Arete during yesterday’s EoD, and their sudden flip is definitely something to be considered, ans I’ll take a look at it today.

reason here for Appel going up my scumlist:
this feels like they’re leaving both doors open, ready to jump on either wagons as votes start rolling in

plus the whole points thing
