Soviet Union

As Communism raged on after the end of the second world war. You are aware that the odds are stacked against you. You called upon your allies to aid you in the upcoming conflict. They came to your aid like lapdogs in a field, you only have one goal. Have the only nations in this world become Communist. But that requires hiding and faking your identity. But you know you have what it takes to lead the Cold War down a path of glory.

Passive - You have a one shot death immunity.
Passive - You are permanently immune to any negative effects apart from death.
Day - Take your own life to kill 1/3rd of the players on your current wagon. This is not usable if it would put the game into or past LyLo.
Night - Learn a players classcard, you will not learn their alignment.

Your goal is to defeat Capitalism and any other nations that stand in your way.

China

During the cold war and the Sino-Soviet Alliance being signed you knew you had hidden your country into a life of crime. Your old empire containing the former countries of Mongolia and land that had been ripped away from you during European Colonization. The Soviet Union promised all of it back as long as they helped you achieve Communism around the world. You took the offer, and now you are their right hand man.

Each night you may pick a player who has claimed their flavour or one of their abilities during the day. You will attack them tonight bypassing any form of tracking, protection or healing. This will count as the factional kill.

Your goal is to defeat Capitalism and any other nations that stand in your way.

North Korea

As the Korean War hit a stalemate, North Korea was created Communist while South Korea was created Democratic. This enraged Koreans and enraged you. You always knew Korea should be divided, and when the Soviet Union promised that, that’s when you came to his aid to make the entire world Communist.

Each night you may select a player, they will be prevented from taking any action.

Your goal is to defeat Capitalism and any other nations that stand in your way.

Vietnam

Unlike your fellow Communist country, North Korea. You were successful in your endeavours of the Vietnamese Civil War, no matter how brutal, you stood tall afterwards. But that still didn’t change your goals of uniting Indochina under your banner and under Communism. When you were promised your goals, you didn’t bat an eyelash and you took the offer immediately.

At one point during the game and during the day, you will privately kill a player instantly. This can not be used in LyLo or during Day 1.

East Germany

While you weren’t under the rule you wanted to be under, and as countries around you were getting paid while you and your fellow Eastern Bloc countries were being treated horribly, you didn’t care. You knew you would be paid for in the end with land, money, your entire nation would prosper over Democracy. And you were going to prove it.

Each night you may pick a player, they will appear framed to all investigations tonight. Otherwise you can pick a player to appear as a member of the Capitalists to all investigations instead.

Your goal is to defeat Capitalism and any other nations that stand in your way.

Lost Wolf (Cuba)

Back in the day, America fought for your independence. That doesn’t change the fact that they tried to annex you into their own country. You were a communist and you always despised Democratic ways, you always saw the Caribbean as yours to conquer. And you were going to achieve your goals with your new found allies. It was time to stand tall and destroy Democracy.

You will inherit the ability of your first dead fellow Communist. Upon inheriting this ability, you will join the Communist night chat.

Your goal is to defeat Capitalism and any other nations that stand in your way.

Neutral Killer (United Kingdom)

The United Kingdom

The Cold War is getting intense, and with your loss of Legitimacy after needing the help of the United States during the Second World War, your reputation was tarnished. Now it’s time to show the rest of the world the true meaning of a third party being involved. You created the United States, now you’re going to destroy it. You thought along side the Soviet Union not once, but twice as to protect Neutral Nations. With the creation of NATO, countries that were once Neutral were no longer. It’s time to bring prestige back to the world and keep you glorious British Empire!

Passive - You are permanently Death Immune.
Day - Bleed target player, they will die in two nights unless healed. Only usable twice per game.
Night - Attack target player, they will die at the end of the night.
Night - Twice per game you may attack the target players house. Players visiting them will die along with your target.

Your goal is to defeat Capitalism, Communism and any other nations that dare stand in your way.

Capitalism

United States of America

As Communism raged on after the end of the second world war. You felt a burden on your back. You had a feeling this would be easy to take down the Soviet Union, but you didn’t realise how powerful they actually were. You made allies and formed NATO in an attempt to stop the Soviet Union from gaining more powerful. As the Eastern Bloc was formed, the Marshal Plan had begun. But perhaps, it was far too late.

Passive - Each night you don’t take an action, you will be death immune.
Day - Twice per game, your target player will be funded tonight making their action guaranteed to succeed.
Night - Prevent negatives effects from harming a player tonight not including death.
Night - Twice per game, you may select a player and attack them.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

West Germany

Split from your fellow side. You were forced away from Berlin as you had your territories occupied after the end of the second world war. You wanted to reinforce yourself back with your old ally. But it wasn’t exactly a choice you had. You stuck with Capitalism purely for the fact that you needed the money for your plans. Along with the fact you knew you would regain your old land.

Each night you may select a player, you will compare them to the player you checked the night before. You will be told if they’re the same alignment.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

Belgium

You hold the United Nations headquarters. You make the decisions. You control the fate of others and you control the place. Despite your nation wanting to split in two, you decided to hold on for as long as you can, especially for the duration of this cold war.

Each day, for 3 times per game, you may select a player to place a vote onto. This player will need one less vote for majority.

Canada

You never were a fan of Communism, not to mention how your ally to the south, the USA, had been your friend for a long time. While you used to be under British Rule. You joined NATO to accompany your old friend and stick with them. You gained new skills during this, but as Communism raged on, the fear of who is real and who is fake sent chills through your entire country

Each night you may select a player, they will be healed tonight.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

Italy

While the days of your might golden era as both the Roman Empire and Fascist Italy may be over, there’s a new threat that you are aware of. The Communists had began taking over Europe and with the Eastern Bloc knocking on your door, you had no choice but to join the Marshal Plan. Luckily for you, you only lost your colonies during the second world war and wasn’t divided into Communists and Capitalists. Instead you’re sticking to your own path, even if you’re involved in some sort of Capitalism. While this may be true, you’re still extremely knowledgeable.

At the end of each night, you will receive a random piece of mechanical information about the game. You can only receive each information once. Your information will get more powerful as the game goes on.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

While the Second World War wasn’t exactly in your favour, you managed to recapture Alsace-Lorraine from the Germans and you also got a nice piece of West Germany under your control. But the rise of Communists was working against you. You had rebels and riots in your own country meaning you couldn’t exactly help, but the most you could do was send supplies.

Each night you may send supplies to a player. You must use each supply in order.

• Captivity: Target player will be occupied tonight.
• Spy Network: You will discover the target players alignment.
• Uniforms: Target player will be healed tonight.
• Weapons: Target player will be attacked tonight.

The Netherlands

As the Netherlands, you used to have a Dutch Empire that got independence from you. The Scramble for Africa wasn’t exactly in your favour back then, but now with the Cold War raging on, you have new found allies and are planning on taking down the Communists once and for all. Maybe if you do good enough, you’ll learn a lot.

Each night, you may pick a player, you will delay their death. Your delayed deaths will count as a heal, meaning it will act as if you healed them but instead move forward two nights, when you delay a death you will be informed, that player will die in two nights after instead.

If you delay a death over the course of the game, you may use a night to dissipate the death out of existence or move it onto another player instead. You can only do this once per game.

Portugal

Your border with your fellow friend, Spain has been unchanged for almost 800 years. You two have gotten so close that if anything were to happen to the other, you’d try and convince and help each other, even when your brother turned Fascist, you were always there by their side. And now, you two will stick together during the cold war.

You share a Mason with Spain who is [x], you also know that they are a fellow Capitalist.

Spain

After you were freed by the allies from Ottoman rule. During your time as a free country, you always wanted Constantinople, the first half of Instanbul, but was that really important when the Communists were trying to put rebels in your country and make Communists rise up and force you into joining the Eastern Bloc along with Turkey, your rival for a long time.

Each night for 2 times per game, you may pick a player, you will discover who they visit.

Morocco

While not very relevant during the Cold War, you were actually a pretty big help during it. While your territory looks small on maps, you actually own a lot more than given out to the public eye. You use this to your advantage to be in two places at once, while it seems stupid. There isn’t actually much else for you to do.

Each night, you may select a dead player, you will check if their flip was tampered with and if it was, learn what the original flip was meant to be.

New Zealand

Forgotten from most maps may be sad, but it’s given you the possibility of hiding in the shadows and stalking your prey and seeing who might come in contact with them. Your hidden personality seems bad to most, but it’s used to your advantage, especially during the terrible time of the Cold War.

Each night for only 2 nights, you may select a player, you will see who visits them.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

Dominican Republic

While you didn’t plan to do much, your northern neighbour and the neighbours to your lefts ambitions to conquer you struck fear into you. It’s not like you really had a choice to not be scared from being conquered so you became a Capitalist. While you aren’t apart of NATO, being in the force to stop Communism was probably your best move yet. Go you!

Each night for 3 times per game, you may select a player, you will prevent them from taking action for the night.

South Korea

After the Korean Peninsula was split along the 38th Parallel you were stuck with an ambitious Japan who wanted to regain your land and a Communistic North Korea above you. While you seem like you’re screwed, you have the backing of NATO behind you who want to take down Communism.

At the start of the game, 4 players including yourself with be placed into your starting neighbourhood chat. This chat will always be active until you are dead.

Your starting players in your neighbourhood chat are [x], [x] and [x]. You may add or remove players once per night. They will be removed at the end of the night.

Colombia

A former Spanish Colony back in the past, you took some abilities from the Spanish and learnt about traits and abilities of what might happen. Unaware about the Cold War that was raging on, you decided to join in and help out while having ambitions to take land or at least remove Communism from South America.

On each even night, you may select two players, players targeting the first player will target the second instead and vice versa. You cannot target yourself with this ability.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

Austria

Occupied and Divided. That’s what happened to your old empire. Conquered and forcefully integrated. That’s what happened after you received your freedom. Occupied and Divided once again after things that weren’t your choice were taken away from you. You hated them all. But Communism was horrible. It tried integrating itself into your country until you crushed it. You have no other choice but to stand against Communism, for the time being.

Each night for 2 times per game, you may select a player that has less than 30^day, you will attack and kill them.

Your goal is to defeat Communism and any other nations that stand to harm Capitalism.

Japan

While you had lost your old empire, you were occupied by the United States and partly by the British before they retreated. You were fully Capitalist and to be honest, you were fine with it. There wasn’t any hate between the two countries and you had began rebuilding your cities anyway. It was time to be friends…And not to mention your neighbours near by you with their ambitions to turn you Communist or even take over you entirely.

Each night you may select a player, you will protect them, if they are attacked you will die bypassing everything and attack their attacker.
