Cop13, One Cop, 3 Mafia and 9 Vanilla Townies is cited as having a 50% winrate often. This is about as close you can get to having perfect balance in a Mafia-style game, and in the grand scheme of things it’s not the kind of riveting experience you’d want every single game to be.

Sketch is basically saying there is a theoretical form of ToL where everything is perfectly mechanically balanced and the meta changing does not affect the overall balance too much…

And you really DON’T want a NK that wins as often as BD or Scum. Say all 3 teams have an equal chance of winning: 33% balance.

That means when the NK wins, 90% of the players are losing every 3 games. That just causes the entire game population to be salty and quit the game because they think they’re bad…

They should just give you extra gold if you win as NK since it is harder.
