I actually don’t think this will be a problem for Prince out meta.

All of the problems he could cause in that context already exist with King but worse.

All of the counters that already work with Prince out (WoF, Frenzy, Empower Reap, CoD ect) still would.

What are the interactions between empower and knight? Will he still die on his second guard success? What happens if he coldsteels a BD?

I think if I could make one suggestion at this point, would be to make the Empower that Court Wizard gives to Social classes, to change from becoming conversion immune to death immune so that we could potentially see a Priest be returned to the game that focuses on day protection and giving other players conversion immunity, rather than reviving

I think this incarnation of the Court Wizard is way too inconsistent on what effects he grants based on whatever type he uses his ability on. Siphon and Empower give way different effects even if they target the same type. He is not a NK, or king, or any other pivotal role that can handle some complication and not be accessible to new players for a bit. This should be a simple role. If the description of an ability does not fit on 2 lines, we should check to see if it is not needlessly complicated and this CW has two of those. I do strongly prefer the time mage variant that was suggested or my own rework obviously. I personally will be curious to see how I’d enjoy this version, but for new players this seems like a travesty.
