MM, Poss, and Sorc are occ immune, so an empowered butler/drunk is useful.

As for support, the ritualist’s teleportation and sage’s tornado can swap healers off of prince or bleeding/poisoned BD. Occ-immune healers are useful.

I didn’t say it was completely useless. But do you know how unlikely any of those triggers would be?

And occupying a MM or NK may be annoying to them, but the effect won’t be significant.

Also remember that Tornado/Teleportation bypasses immunity.

I do agree stopping a MM is strong

While I do like the concept of giving a different effect depending on their class type, I think overall this ability is way weaker than old Magic barrier, except maybe on killer roles.

I suggest giving the Court Wizard a second day ability:

Day Ability - Mimic (2 uses) - Select a player. Your next empower will give additional effects based on said player’s class in addition to its normal effects. You will not know what you get.
Offensive / Special – Empower target will be occupation immune
Killer / Support – Empower target will be death immune
Social / Investigative – Empower target will be conversion immune

Its similar to his other day ability but works on his empower target instead of himself. This could make him better and more fun to play since it involves more strategy. You could use this ability on an outed butler/drunk and then empower an outed sheriff to prevent them from both being occupied and having their results altered. You could also use this on a social class and then empower an outed physician to protect him from being converted as well as being occupied.
You can also protect anyone from death even if they are not a killer role.

That’s still pretty weak. I feel like we should look for something else.

As of now, this CW is weaker than the current one, and would need a major rework to be powerful enough.

But yeah you will get 2 effects per night. However, 2 uses is very very not fun. You will die before you can do anything.
