I think you could fix CW by just tweaking barrier feedback, changing CW tornado to 1 way, and adding visit prevent as a day ability. Regardless, there’s an alternative to Tornado and Teleportation if devs really want it gone in there.
Which one to chose though? So many good ones!!!

Court wizzard: Bd Class
NOW UNIQUE
Passive:Lesser mage armor: Immune to occupation and target changing.
Night abilities: Tornado (3 uses , same as now)
Barrier: Same as now
Day ability: Master of magics and tricks( 3 uses)- Copies a random night ability from a target player . Replaces tornado untill it is used . You will not know what this ability is untill it is used. Ability is lost on use. Could be anything. Will fail if you steal prince’s execute.Can not target king. You will not get feedback from this ability unless it had an effect (eg.investigative abilities finding something other than ns, healing healing someone or curing a poison, bleed ., bear killing an attacker, etc) Can steal conversions . You will not get feedback if you convert a player. You will get feedback if it is an attack .or occupation
A feedbackless message would be : You used your stolen ability on X
RNG is not good in a deduction game

If nothing else is taken from this thread, I really like the idea of Magical Barrier remaining on the CW in the form of a day ability.
It lets them do “Fun” things at night while keeping the main utility of the CW intact.
Having an infinite use day ability allows you to make their night abilities strong but limited. (as they will still have something to do in games that drag on through magical barrier.)
I think the biggest hurdle with Court Wizard is knowing early on who needs a barrier. The ability I would like for CW is a Day Ability called Augury that gives you three player names, at least one of which is an ally. To prevent this from pushing the CW into an investigative class the ability use could be limited to the first three days.
Augury, Day, 1 Use, Must be used within first 3 days. Gives you the names of three players, at least one of which is from an allied faction.
