Court Wizard rework(Unknown version; Version 2)

Alright here is my rework:

Court Wizard(Blue Dragon Support)

Day ability 1:Spell of Truth(unlimited Uses): Your target will get correct results tonight. They will ignore anything that would cause their results to be wrong.(Occupy, target changing do NOT get prevented)
Day Ability 2:Spell of Focus(1 use) You are silently immune against Occupy and target changing tonight.
Night Ability 1:Protective Barrier(4 uses) Your target is immune to attacks if it does not visit; or is in Prison. This excludes poison attacks by the Alchemist. Cannot be used on the King.
Night Ability 2:Mind Shield(Unlimited uses, 1 day cooldown) Your target cannot be possessed tonight. Your target drops dead when reaped instead, without giving any souls. Runes do not work on it. Conversions are prevented.

The Sage(Unseen Support)
Strengthen Poison Spell(Day)(1 use) The next usage of Nightshade by the Assassin is unhealable.
Spell of Focus(Day)(see above)
Moving Protective Barrier(Night)(2 Uses) Your target is immune to attacks. This excludes poison attacks by the Alchemist. Cannot be used on the King.
Invisiblity Mind Shield(Unlimited Uses, 1 day Cooldown):Your target ignores the Guards of the King, the protection of the Knight and the Mercenary. They cannot be possessed and drop dead when reaped, without giving any souls.

Something that prevents your conversions is unwelcomed. Something that prevents others isn’t

Giving multiple people PERMANENT conversion immunity is OP.

That ability is not OP.
The Mind Net prevents conversions if and only if both(CL/MM and conversion target) are part of your Mind Net. It is not really easy to achieve that. Even if you get these who should not be converted into your net… you need to get the MM/CL into it as well.
The Mind Net has a maximum capacity of 3; which means 2 useful Conversion Immunity targets maximum(per trigger)
Of course, Mind Net should not give a notification on trigger.
It is impossible to stop any Night 1 conversion with Mind Net.
It is very unlikely to prevent a conversion Night 2.
Mind Net does not stack with any other Mind Nets.

So it’s swingy. Good to know.

Yes it is. Used properly it is very useful.
Used wrongly it is useless until the late nights. But one thing can be done: Conversion immunity only for the target. It will be very useful in the end game after all.

NO ONE SHOULD BE CONVERISON IMMUNE IN A PERFECT WORLD. But we don’t have that

You’ve made your ability go from overpowered to useless in my mind.

First, you need two nights at minimum for it to even take effect.

Second, it’s ONLY useful against MM/CL, which means whenever cult is gone, you might as well just Invigorating Sacrifice.

Third, I know why you get no feedback, but because of it, the class features a big problem already plaguing CW, which is lack of feed back. It’s boring to get nothing in return for what you do.

And finally if by some random change you get the CL/MM in your mind net and they happen to pick the same target as the one in your mind net, they get PERMANENT conversion immunity. That’s such a dice role it’s not even funny.

And as a quick final point, never give a class the ability to just kill themselves for something trivial like strengthening another class. If the current butler meta is anything to go by, Butlers are very willing to lay down their lives just so they don’t have to play Butler.

It is.
It needs good targeting to work, and gives good rewards. What’s the problem with that?
The Day ability 1 is also powerful enough.
And the RP cannot be used on Day 2 anyways, and now that I pushed it back one day not on Day 3 either.

What you’re forgetting in a typical game of ToL, people kill evils quickly. I can imagine tons of CWs spending a lot of time carefully choosing their mind net targets and then having a Sherriff check spoil it.

Yep. So you target those who you see in danger of convert first, then you target the possible CL/whatever.

Also Invigorating Sacrifice’s downside is far too harsh. CW dying is nowhere near worth it.

At which point they’ve been caught by someone. Have you not played a game of ToL recently? The game moves sso quickly an ability that takes so long to set up will be invalidatted by the time it might be useful.

It does move quickly. Then again that night ability CAN be useful if you DONT use it on likely death targets.
And it isn’t like Mind net is the only ability here.

And if it somehow works you confirm one scum and one town, and permanently confirm the town. There is a reason why Prince is the only non-convertible BD

Oh yeah also this ability is too UP to be useful. It only stops Mind Warps and Fool/Scorned frames.
RItual Preperatuon is also pointless btw no point in hammering this UP ability into the ground.

Overall this CW rework is UP with a swingy af OP ability. Also make a Sage for this after changing everything about it thanks
