Merc guard would stop both kills, so that just leaves merc shield.

Thatā€™s far too niche for an ability like this. No other ability in the entire game is THIS situational.

You can still also use neutrals for it.
Attack a neutral and an evil.
Attack a deathimmune BD and an evil.
You can bulwark of faith your BD target.
