In fact, I argue it’s completely impossible to gague the intentions of conversions in this game.

Why would max convert me? Max has made it clear in other games that he wouldn’t convert me.

I just caught up myself. I saw about why would Hip convert Fire or Max. Realistically, he would not go for either for them. He might have gone for someone who can be considered VI or sometimes who is scummy that they would fly under the rader based on the way they play. Fire would be too much of an obvious target and Max when he gets mad makes him appear more scummy.
