Why I am not converted to cult:

1. Cult will not try to convert a newbie player who hasn’t shown any skill yet. Especially one that is already on everybody’s radar. This counts especially more so when Cult is low on numbers and cannot afford to take chances.

2. I did soft a Vigilante claim who cannot be converted. In my first post I specifically tried to get a strategy for the Vigilante together and several other posts followed up on that since noone gave a concrete answer. It is a possibility for a newbie to ask what he should do in that regard.

Statistically speaking, I assume the vigilante should not kill tonight as they are more likely to hit town? (13/18th) Conversely there is the small chance that they hit a Cultist (1/18th) who could have failed his recruit (8/18th chance), but I do not think it is worth it to bet on such a low chance. A bit more likely is that he can hit the Cop too. (1/18th) I think scumreading day 1 before we can even vote is not going to do much, but I am new, so I cannot really say.

3. I also soft claimed Cop who cannot be converted in this post.

I can’t resist responding aagh, but how can someone possible come across as too town aligned…? I am just confused at that statement.

I will obviously advocate for Cop not wasting a check on me, since I know I am town, but also for the group’s point of view, I am clearly already on everybody’s radar, so it would be a much better use to have it on someone quiet/not saying anything of substance.

(How hilarious would it be, if I were Cop?)

It was my intention to keep it ambiguous whether I would be Cop/Vigilante/Citizen to possibly mess up the target selection of scum and cover for the actual Cop/Vigilante. At this point I think it is fruitless to continue trying to cover for Vigilante so I will hard-claim as regular Citizen.

I’ll follow up with why I am not Mafia next.
